An absolutely wonderful book! Full of fascinating insights into Creation, Jesus' Resurrection, Angelic realms, prayers, divine guidance, healing, and the nature of life. There is so much that is of interest, and so much love and wisdom contained on every page, it's as if not a single word has been wasted, which I guess would be true of a book dictated by an Angel! Easy to read, yet deeply thought-provoking, even though I am not able to accept a few of the minor concepts, it seems as if more can be learned, and more understandings gained, each time it's read. Highly recommended, especially to those seeking more advanced awareness of the spiritual realities `behind the veil' of life as we know it on earth. Note: I purchased my copy in a downloadable PDF via Kelly's website, [...].

I am impressed by the candid truths unveiled by Michael the Archangel(thru Kelly), who lovingly guides us to the ultimate place of becoming enlightened, or the true Self. And that Love is truly what needs to be realized in this lifetime. He enlightens us on the way things will change upon the earth, and what life holds on the spiritual side. And how we continue to grow, or not if we choose, but it is our choice. Freedom to choose is a gift, and we are fortunate to have an Angel come forth and herald news we ALL can find comfort in by putting our faith in God and His Son...GREAT READ! It's not an old view of things, but what we need to hear because as a race, we are ready to know..I also could not put this book down!

It`s one of the best books i`ve ever read in my entire life. It helps me so much in changing my life for the best. I found enlightenment in it, and i could not put it down for i was hooked on every word. I found love and salvation in this book, it is really the most precious thing i could ever found in my whole life. I felt so much peace, love and light after i read the book that it is AMAZING! This is the story of my late wife Lydia and our family’s journey with Motor Neurone Disease/Amyotrophic Lateral Scleroses (MND/ALS). Lydia presented symptoms in April 2009 and was diagnosed with MND in September 2009. She passed on 25 February 2011 and I dedicated myself since March 2011 to honour her memory and raise awareness of this terrible dreaded disease. I spent 2 years and 7 months writing the book at night and weekends. MND is very rare, terminal and untreatable and it was my mission to educate and inform Families with members who have been diagnosed with MND, Care Givers and Medical Practitioners of our experience through the various phases of the disease. As the primary Care Giver I accumulated first-hand experience of the symptoms and symptomatic relief of MND and how to maintain the Patient’s quality of life. It is also a personal and detailed journey of how my wife as the patient, suffered from the progressive ravages of the disease and how I as the husband and Care Giver, experienced the journey. The book is composed of 8 sections chronicling the journey from humble beginnings during the Apartheid Group Areas and Job Reservations eras through the difficulties of self-realisation, career development to financial stability only for the disease to strike and deprive us from enjoying the fruits of our labour. The first three sections maps the journey from humble beginnings to self-realisation. The fourth section maps our journey from April 2009 when she presented symptoms to diagnoses September 2009. The fifth section through to the seventh section maps our journey tracking the progressive degeneration month by month from September 2009 to February 2011 when she passed on. The eighth section chronicles lessons learnt and my understanding and coming to terms with Lydia’s passing which I believe can offer comfort and coping mechanisms to the families left behind. I believe the fourth, fifth, sixth and seventh sections will benefit families, Care Givers and Medical Practitioners by describing the progressive degeneration phases and what to do to provide symptomatic relief. The eighth section offers insights from lessons learnt from the journey and will hopefully provide comfort and understanding for the families affected by MND/ALS.

Most significant contribution to the study of values and power

The importance of this book is to demonstrate for the first time how values inspire action, attention, and vitality. The clearer you are on your values, the more power you have to live your destiny.

One of the teachers of `The Secret', Dr Demartini loads every page of this latest book with important practices and insights. `The Riches Within' is a challenging read because Demartini supports you to experience on your own terms what `destiny', `mission', `genius' and `vision' really mean.

Demartini often writes in memes or catchy statements which stick in the mind, so even a casual read of a few pages will yield gems of wisdom. But this is a pencil and paper book really, to write as you learn. I also recommend discussion with other readers, as it helps integrating the material.

Demartini writes with passion and humor about the ageless concern of identifying and profiting from doing what you most love. Reading this book has inspired me to do more of what I love, and brought much more gratitude into my relationships.

Another brilliant example of applying John's theory into practice. This book provides insights throughout all seven areas of life (as defined by John). Having read most of John's books, this is a continuation of his teaching threads and will provide the reader with insight and a deeper understanding of your current values and it will take you into a transformation process, if you wish to follow his lead. The practical examples used will assist you to apply tested, proven and established concepts into your own life. Very powerful indeed!

Great Book!

Brad Whisnant does an amazing job with this book. As far as I know it's the only case study book on Tung acupuncture which is a huge asset to anyone looking to study the Tung distal system. Dr Whisnant is a success acupuncturist that has been using the Tung system for many years and in this book he presents case studies from his own practice and explains how and why he treats. This is extremely helpful and it often feels like your with him in the clinic as he explains how he treats. I love this book because originally I found the Tung system confusing and difficult to learn because the other books I looked at presented very little theory and explanation, but Dr Whisnant pulls back the curtain and makes it easy and accessible to understand. So much information and so helpful

I have suffered with chronic migraines for over 20 years. I have tried numerous medications with very little relief. I also went to a chiropractor, which did help but was expensive. A friend recommended acupuncture so when I saw this book I had to read it. I was instantly impressed. The author did an amazing job with it and gave me so much insight into it, and into the actual workings of the human body. I love his honesty with the patients and not pushing anyone into what they did not need o were not willing to do. The treatments and explanations are o clear and I learned so much in such a short book. It is so well written and easy to understand. The author did an amazing job in the writing of this book and showed me exactly what I needed to know. I loved the quotes and the ending of the book, with everything set up for later referencing. I now have hope. I strongly recommend this book, it is a whole new look into pain treatment and the blessings of a pain free life in due time.

Buy it! Use it!

I now own all the Master Tung books published by the American Chinese Medical Culture Center, but when it's busy in my clinic and I need some help with a Tung style treatment protocol, THIS is the book I grab first. Dr. Whiznant laid out his book so it's really easy to just turn to the page on shoulder pain or sciatica or TMJ or headache and then it's all there. He lists not only what points he would use for the condition, but there is a diagram of the point location along with an explanation of why he chose those points according to different imaging theories. This is helpful because then I'm not just memorizing a recipe, but learning to understand how to think about using the Tung method. I highly recommend this book. Keep it open on your desk at work and check it for each condition you are treating every day.

Melanie Bowles is Senior Lecturer in Digital Textiles Design at Chelsea College of Art and Design, University of the Arts, London, with more than 15 years' teaching experience. She is also a textile designer and researcher and has sold and exhibited her work internationally.

Ceri Isaac is a textile designer specializing in digital print and technology. She has over 10 years of industry experience and her work has been exhibited at the Cooper-Hewitt National Design Museum in New York and the Textile Design Museum in Washington, D.C. She is based in London.

It was okay for begginers

I ordered this book for a class on textile design. It is fairly well organized but the majority of the class did get confused a couple of times because of missing steps.
I had already had a class using Illustrator and Photoshop so I was able to skip a lot or I knew a more efficient way to do many of the lessons.
I recommend this book for beginners, but not for experienced Adobe users.

Great reference for digital textiles

Nice reference book if you are interested in digital textile. Contains tutorials about pattern design, repeats and special textile effects. Also has designer profiles with works samples. Even though tutorials were written for Illustrator and Photoshop software (I have CorelDraw), I was able to get some great info about creating patterns.

The volume to own for the Varga fan

Released in 1987, this catalog defines the work of Alberto Vargas with Esquire (as well as some illustrations and commentary before and after his work with Esquire). Made in cooperation with the Hearst Corporation, which still owns the rights to many of the images, this volume includes many full and multi-page spreads of some of Vargas most well known works. Highly recommended for any Varga(s) fan!

A true fine art rendering of Vargas' best work

Singling out the Esquire Years, and then publishing these images with clearly painstaking detail and quality, was a quite brilliant stroke. As the memory of Vargas (and much of the height of the pinup era as a whole) recedes into memory, the images presented here seem to resonate with truly classic patina. At the same time, there is a much more ingenuous feeling to their gentle and not yet bold eroticism that serves to celebrate the memory of an oft neglected master craftsman.

An excellent title that serves as a model for anyone interested in the inevitable intermittent revivals (photographic and otherwise) of this kind of pinup style, which wound up not surviving in a meaningful form after the 1950's.

Interesting Resource for Unique Images

I will admit that my expectations of creatures that might be contained were firmly in my head when I ordered this, and some creatures I longed and hoped for were not included. There were a number of delightful pictures that I doubt I will ever use despite the excellent illustrations, but there are also some incredible ones that will be used over and over in my art journal projects and ATC experiments for sure. There is plenty in this book for the collage or transfer artist to toy with, all with excellent detail that should enhance any project quite well. Am happy to have it on my shelf!

worth every penny! the illustrations are a joy to pore over. if you like this book, you should check out David Attenborough's book, Amazing Rare Things: The Art of Natural History in the Age of Discovery.

Good Detail - Nice worksheets

One fo the thngs I enjoyed the most about this book (kindle) was the work sheets. The content isn't anything super ground breaking or not covered in the other books on this subject that I've read (Threads not dead, HOWTOSTARTACLOTHINGCOMPANY, etc). The best part is the task lists and guidelines, they provide a quick reminder about what tasks you need to consider.

My company, Complete Havoc - had covered most of the content offered, but I still reference the materials guidelines from time to time to review that I'm not missing any of the basics. Great starting point if you're just starting your brand, and maybe the best of the start-up books on the subject.

Great book, much better than threads not dead

I read this book because I am the owner of the clothing line Bestia Story founded about 3 years ago. I wish I could have found it sooner. It would have saved me a lot of time and money. I read threads not dead but found it more of a book on "how to work for a clothing line". This book is meant for clothing line owners and entrepreneurs so if you are thinking of starting a clothing line or already have I highly recommend it.

I used what I learned to develop my clothing line into what it is now. My clothing line is Bestia Story feel free to check it out.

Being the owner of Purple & Chrome ([...]) an NY based clothing brand I thought this book was one of the best books I've read on the topic! Extremely informative, easy to understand, and easy to put the simple steps into action. This is the definitive must have for anyone looking to start or who already has their own clothing brand!
