About the Author
Dr. R. Reed Lessing is Professor of Exegetical Theology and director of the graduate school at Concordia Seminary, St. Louis, Missouri. He studied at St. John's College, Winfield, Kansas (B.A.), and Concordia Seminary (M. Div., S.T.M., Ph.D.). He has also served as a parish pastor.

A Wonderful Read

I've read a number of volumes from the Concordia Commentary series, and Lessing's commentaries on Isaiah (along with Brighton's volume on Revelation) have been my favorite to date. For anyone who believes in the Christocentricity of the Old Testament and the inerrancy of the Bible, these volumes are a breath of fresh air.
