N.K. Singh is a politician-turned bureaucrat, economist and a former IAS officer. He is also a member of the Rajya Sabha of Bihar. He has written other books like Not by Reason Alone and The Politics of Change. Nicholas Stern is an economist and an academic.Besides being an IG Patel professor of economics and governance, he has chaired and presided over various prestigious educational institutions.
