This terrific book (Part II) should be bought with Part I to give the complete survey of the French Napoleonic Army.

The most famous corps was the Imperial Guard of the Napoleonic Army. This book introduces the various units within the Imperial Guard and the text is richly illustrated with great uniforms. Using this as a primer, try reading Anne Brown's translation of Henri Lachouque's "The Anatomy of Glory: Napoleon and his Guard".

Got this for one recipe

This book is fun. but I really got this only becuz I saw the bride and groom cookies and wanted to make them. Consequently, I didn't use those but made the cookies with the flower basket (weaving the fondant etc) and that turned out beautifully. Good ideas for reference.
