Love it! Highly Recommended

I highly recommend this book to anyone interested in becoming healthier, losing weight, gaining muscle, or all three! This book takes a well-rounded, holistic approach to health that can be maintained throughout life. This is not one of those crazy fad diets and no food groups are restricted. It is all about Balance and how to do it, something that most weight loss plans are missing. Transformwise contains great information about nutrition, a 12 week exercise program, and also includes simple recipes to make eating healthy easier. The nutritional advice is backed by scientific research and is explained in way that us “regular” people can understand. I love that this book emphasizes that weight loss and body transformation is more than calories in vs calories out. Choosing the right, nutritionally dense foods is a big factor in body transformation and this book explains why! The workouts are AWESOME because they are quick, require only a few pieces of equipment, and are very intense. It is great for beginners and experienced exercisers wanting to switch up their routine workout and gain muscle. In this book you will learn why metabolic resistance training is one of the best ways to burn more fat in a shorter amount of time. The recipes are easy to make and include the nutritionally dense foods suggested in the book. I am absolutely positive this book will significantly help anyone looking to live a healthier lifestyle!

A holistic approach to health

Dr. Scott Johnson gives an easy to follow plan for anyone to be healthy. This isn't a "one size fits all" approach to being fit. It's not about denying yourself food, or extreme workouts. It is a balanced plan that not only looks at what we shouldn't eat, but what we should. And the types & amount of exercises we should do to stay fit. He gives some recipes as examples of what we should be eating for optimal health, and he explains things so that those with no medical or scientific background can understand too. I highly recommend this book for anyone wanting to live a healthy lifestyle.

I've on my 3rd time through Dr. Scott's Transform Wise program and LOVE IT! It's given me amazing results every time! It's easy to achieve at home with a house full of kids and a busy lifestyle. This book has made all the difference in the way I view exercise.
